Customer Reviews

"Ordered the Street Tacos (Steak). We're prepared very well and tasted great. Streets tacos were simple with steak, onions, and cilantro with lime on the side if you wanted to use it. Steak was very tender and cooked juat right so that it wasn't chewy. Churros with a side of chocolate dip (very rich) to finish off the meal. Little pricey but overall I enjoyed the meal."

"Ate the following: Red Quesadilla Birria and soup was oily. Soup was very small. Street nachos with chicken. The nachos were freshly made and tasted good. Side of guacamole was good. The guacamole was fresh made but smaller than the mortar pestil size dish on their ordering screen. Didn't care for their Birria. Salsas had no flavors They charge 6% Service and Disposal fee in addition to sales tax. Our order was "to go" but we ate the food there while it was hot. They gave us 2 styrofoam boxes and 1 plastic fork and a plastic spoon and 4 very small white napkins. Would return to try other dishes and or different nachos."

"This place offers consistent, simple, delicious food and a pleasant staff. It's a nice place for sitting down and having a conversation. Music is playing but not in an intrusive way. As a dairy and gluten-free girlie, I feel safe eating here and have several options from which to choose. The octopus tacos hold a special place in my heart though "

"I'm sure that I was Mexican in my previous life because I absolutely love Mexican food. EL Papi Real Street Tacos has hit the spot that makes me return for another visit! The food isn't overly spicy. The establishment was spotless, wasn't crowded, and had decent service. I didn't get the impression that they made custom dishes. So be sure to look at the menu before going. But they have a variety of meat options. I ordered four dishes, and my total wait time did not exceed 15 minutes! I was pleased about that."

"This is the best taco place around here hands down, ignore the bad reviews they're just mad about a bad experience, this food taste like my moms food (she's from Mexico) I've been going here for a year and they've never disappointed me, the staff is super friendly and I've even received free food several times, they have a reward system that can give you free things too. This is my go to taco place. If you don't like this place you're just used to Americanized Mexican food."

"Very good .. I tried soo many birria tacos .. this will have to be to me my 4th place good tacos that I have eaten! My only issue was that the consomme is a little oily"

"Hubby and I ordered "2 Papi's Red Tacos with brisket meat" The tacos on their own had great but subtle flavors. They came with a small cup of a light green sauce and a red sauce. The green sauce was mild and lime heavy that paired well with the tacos. The red sauce is where all the flavor is at. Those with ulcers and pregnant ladies should proceed with caution before consuming. it was perfectly spicy and will definitely cause acid reflux. I'm currently 7 months pregnant myself so not the smartest move but the flavor was well worth the indigestion! The staff was also very friendly to my husband. Side note to the owner: if you would like to exchange the tacos for photography, let me know "
